Andre Lohnert received his first art education in Slovakia. After moving to the United States in 1983, he continued his art studies at California State University, Long Beach (portrait painting and sculpture), Long Beach Community College (painting and printmaking) and Mt. San Jacinto College (sculpture and bronze foundry).
He has held numerous solo art exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad. His works are part of private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, France, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Mauritius.
